I always enjoyed meeting up with Charlie at Wisley. He was such an interesting man to talk to, very intelligent and deep-thinking, and we managed to sort out most of the world's problems over coffee and cakes. He was a real "gentleman", and extremely brave and stoical in dealing with the loss of dear Jenny and his own declining health. I will always have very fond memories of him.
